Ghana winger Christian Atsu salutes retired ex-Arsenal striker Thierry Henry

Ghana winger Christian Atsu has paid glowing tribute to Thierry Henry who announced his retirement from football on Tuesday.

The Everton winger, on loan from Chelsea, posted a picture of the former Arsenal striker and captain on Instagram which his career history.

He later posted on his Twitter account: “Respect to this legend. Unforgettable career.”

Henry, 1998 World Cup winner and Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer, left New York Red Bulls this month but there was speculation he might choose to play on at another club
