The invitation came from a twitter fan who was responding to a tweet by Kwaw Kese after the Black Stars’ 2:1 over Bafana Bafana in the final Group C cliffhanger.
After the crucial win which saw Ghana book a place in the Quarter Finals of the tournament currently ongoing in Equatorial Guinea, a harmless tweet by Kwaw Kese that: “They made it #Blackstars” throw his handle into a frenzy.

Kwaw Kese, also known as Abodam, replied “I beg” prompting another follower to ask, “hahahahha Why Kofi Boakye dey Twitter??”
The controversial rapper was arrested by the police in Kumasi on November 22, 2014, for allegedly smoking cannabis. He was granted bail on December 30, 2014.
