European sides, Belgium or Austria could be opponents of the Black Stars in their next international fixture next month, Allsports.com.gh sources have revealed.

Contrary to reports last week that Ghana had booked a March 29 date for a friendly game against West African rivals, Nigeria in London, our sources indicate that the Ghana Football Association are yet to reach a decision on who the Black Stars will play.

Accordingly, Austria and Belgium who also have EURO 2016 qualifiers on the horizon are targeting a game against the beaten Africa Cup of Nations finalists after respectively sending requests to the GFA for a fixture against the Black Stars during FIFA's international break at the end of March.

Belgium are currently one of the best rated teams in world football after reaching the quarter finals of the last World Cup in Brazil and are currently 4th in FIFA /Coca rankings. They also boast some of world football's young football superstars like Cheslea duo, playmaker Eden Hazard and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany, Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini, Everton's Romelo Lukaku among others.

Austria are not so privileged though but are still two places above Ghana in the latest FIFA ranking table in 23rd position and with the likes of Bayern Munich left wing back, David Alaba could be a real match for the Black Stars on any day.

Coach Avram Grant and the Ghana Football Association will now have to decide in the coming days which country to choose as opponents come end of next month.
