NPP crowd hits Kumasi roads in Yabr3 demo | Dayz Entertainment

Thousands of demonstrators have hit the roads in Kumasi to protest the crippling power crisis in the country.

The demonstration is being organised by the Ashanti Region branch of the New Patriotic Party.

The "Yabr3" [we are tired] demonstration as it is christened, is a continuation of the "won gbo" demonstration embarked on by National executives of the same party last week.

Luv FM's Erastus Asare Donkor reports the demonstration has started in earnest with the demonstrators chanting across the streets of Kumasi.

The demonstrators converged at the State Boys School, Suame Roundabout as early at 7:00 am, in readiness for what is likely to be a long day of demonstration.

The demonstrators are in their traditional red outfits and are brandishing placards some of which read: "Mahama is a dumsor"; "We need power now!" "Where is our money?"

The police in their riot control gears are also supervising the demonstration.
