MLS expansion side Orlando City is a potential destination for Michael Essien, according to the former Chelsea midfielder's agent.
Essien, 32, has struggled to break into the Milan line-up since arriving from Chelsea last winter on a free transfer, making just five starts in nine appearances this season for a total of 456 minutes.
Out of contract in the summer, the Serie A club are willing to offload the former Blues star before the end of his deal.
The Ghana international is keen on a switch to MLS, however, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting last week initial talks had begun with FC Dallas over a potential move.
Technical director Fernando Clavijo, whose son is among Essien’s entourage, has since denied those claims but, while a move to FCD now looks to be out of the question, agent Fabrizio Ferrari has named expansion franchise Orlando as a possible destination.
"We have yet to receive a satisfying offer, we're looking for offers for next season,” he said.
“Orlando? You never know. MLS is very interesting, should offers arrive we'll consider them."
