Musicians Kwaw Kesse, Joey B and Pappy Kojo are billed to perform a special ‘Fan Park’ set up by Vodafone for this year’s Ghana Music Awards.

The Fan Park, now an integral part of the awards, is an open air concert organized concurrently with the main awards night for fans who are unable to make it to the main awards.

Reputed as Ghana music’s biggest night, the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, April 11.

The VGMA Fan Park, to be set up at the Osu Oxford Street, will give thousands of Ghanaians an opportunity to experience Ghana’s biggest music night on giant screens as well as live performances by some of the nominees.

Apart from Kwaw Kesse, Joey B and Pappy Kojo, other celebrated musicians such as EL and Gasmila will take turns to thrill patrons to some exciting performances.

Agnes Emefa Essah, Marketing Director at Vodafone Ghana, commenting on the VGMA Fan Park, said in a statement that they have upped their game this year due to feedback from last year's event.

“Only a few Ghanaians are able to experience this most anticipated music event in Ghana due to venue and other logistical constraints. The Fan Park, which promises to be an exciting event, is in response to the feedback we have received from Ghanaians. This year, we are giving more people the opportunity to experience the VGMA in a way that has never happened before,” she said.

Vodafone has been the main sponsor of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) since 2011.
