Hiplife artiste, A Plus has described Sarkodie’s latest song, New Guy, with American hiphop artiste Ace Hood as noise.
He says while he acknowledges Sarkodie’s immense talent, he is really disappointed in the outcome of the hugely publicised song.
Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo, released the song Wednesday after a lot of brouhaha over his collaboration with Ace Hood.
Ace Hood, in a tweet, said he had only agreed to go ahead with the feature after the Ghanaian rapper paid $25,000.
Commenting on the track on Facebook Wednesday, A-Plus said, “Sarkodie is like Lionel Messi. He's just too good. But you agree that last year Messi had a bad season? Yeah that is what has happened to Sark.
“The "New Guy" track is just noise. I wonder if environmental protection have heard it. Anyway, It doesn't take anything away from him. Sark is still a great guy...,” he noted.
Another controversial musician, Wanlov the Kubolor also commenting on the song said Ace Hood’s delivery on the song did not deserve the $25,000 that he was paid.
“…like sark for com 2nd coz afta e rap i force quit ma itunes…wot ace go fit talk again? b like u no read ma tweet well…i b ace like i go return d $25k cooly den dash sark ma bugatti 4 d feature,” he said.
Meaning, Ace Hood should have rapped second and he should also return the $25,000 to Sarkodie and add a Bugatti to the money.
