Let’s work harder, we are not well known outside Ghana - Stonebwoy

BET award winning Ghanaian dancehall star, Stonebwoy, has entreated his fellow Ghanaian artistes to abandon trivialities and concentrate on developing their individual arts to make them more internationally accepted.

Stonebwoy lost to his Nigerian friend, Patoranking, who took the Best New Act at the MTV Africa Music Awards Kwazulu Natal 2015 held at the ICC Durban over the weekend.

Moments after the awards event, Ghanaian dancehall act, Shatta Wale, wrote a twitter comment that is believed to be mocking Stonebwoy for not picking the award.

But addressing to the said tweet in an interview on Starr Entertainment News on the Zone hosted by Kathy Sakyi, Stonebwoy said he takes the criticism in good stride if indeed it was directed at him, although he doubts it was.

He also said Shatta Wale’s observations should be taken seriously by all Ghanaian artistes as they all work towards achieving the level of fame necessary for their progress.
