Young Thug Arrested on "Terroristic Threats" Charges

On Wednesday morning, Young Thug was arrested by U.S. Marshals who were responding to an warrant issued by Dunwoody police, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Thug, who is 22 years old, was arrested around 6 a.m. at a home in Sandy Springs. Here’s what Jim Joyner, spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, said in a news release:

“Williams was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats stemming from an incident that occurred with the jurisdiction of the Dunwoody police.”

There have been no further information on the origins of the incident or the details of his arrest. He will be transferred to DeKalb County jail for his initial appearance and bond hearing.
