Whenever two artists come together to put much effort on a song, you know what that means. Yeah! The song becomes a hit. There have been several collaborations in Ghana but some were massive. We have gathered just a few of them here. Let's see how they are the best in Ghana at the moment.
1. Telemo- Gasmilla ft Capasta:
The Ga rapper has been doing some real thing with his talent. Actually, every song he drops becomes a hit. I decided not to add Bisa Kdei's "Mansa" because its not a collabo. Both "Mansa" and "Telemo" are major tracks and one of them will surely win the song of the year. Gasmilla did all the singing with some few raps and the underground and rising artist Capasta did a fine rap. Download "Telemo" below and make your own reasoning.
2. Yakubu- Kwaw Kese ft Sarkodie:
Kwaw Kese had a tough case this year and affter been granted a bail from prison, the "Fante Rap King" chased Sarkodie from his home to do a song with him. This song which am listening to at the moment was well sung and the engineers hammered it well. Perhaps, its because two engineers did it together. Kwaw did the singing and some rap and Sarkodie nailed it with his rap skills. "Yakubu" is and still a hit track even up till now.
3. Alewa- Ofori Amponsah ft Sarkodie:
Some years ago, Ofori Amponsah left Highlife and decided not to get back to them. Like these footballers do say, "we don't know the future". So, Pastor Ofori Amponsah came straight in. His first track since coming from his ministries is "Alewa". This song is purely about love. As usual, Ofori did his nice singing with that meledious voice he couldn't do over Gospel music. This song has been downloaded over a million times. Its a big collabo and he nailed it well.
4. Adonai- Sarkodie ft Castro:
Most music lovers will not argue with me at all for including "Adonai" in this list. Though Castro is no more, this track is still a hit. But am sure, people listened to this song more because of Castro. He getting lost trigged more people to download the song. Today, Adonai is still a hit track. Castro did all the good singing with his meledious voices and the fastest rapper in Ghana at the moment added his fine raps to it. Just download "Adonai" and listen to it and make your own judgement.
5.Nyame Dadaw- Nero X ft Teephlow:
Right after finishing second behind Strongman in GH's next big thing competition, Teephlow went ahead to feature newly artist Nero X. This song "Nyame Dadaw" became very popular even up till now. It has that kind of nice tune with Nero X doing all the singing and Teephlow doing the rap. The collabo has that kind of magic which keeps a person listening and listening till one cannot anymore. Let's listen to "Nyame Dadaw" once again by downloading it if you do not have it.
