Hi-life Legend, Daddy Lumba has revealed how some prophets in the country demanded various amounts of money from him in exchange for God’s healing.

Before releasing his hit track, “Yentie Obiaa”, Daddy Lumba had to battle for his own life following an undisclosed illness. It was even rumoured at the time that the highlife legend had kicked the bucket or died.

Speaking to Kwame Adinkra of Atinka Fm , the highlife legend confessed that he was very sick at time, adding that some prophets wanted to take advantage of the situation to make money. “During those trying times; so many men of God came around to pray for me; some even demanded GHC 2000 from me before they could heal me,” the “Yentie Obiaa” hit maker revealed.
However, Daddy Lumba singled out one Prophet Kobi, who played a major role in saving his life. “Prophet Kobi revealed so many things concerning my life and they were true; he later prayed for me and with time, I got healed by the Almighty God”, he said.

Daddy Lumba said his latest gospel hit track, “Hossana”, which features Great Ampong is therefore in honour of God for saving him from the jaws of death. He is currently on top form and seems to move into Gospel as a means of Thanks giving to God.
