Sensational Hi-life songstress,Akosua Adjepon,and FRANSDAN FOUNDATION, an Italy- based non governmental organization on Tuesday donated items worth of Ghc 8000 to an orphanage at Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya East district of the Central Region.
The Items included Drugs, toileteries and food stuffs like, Rice, oil and many more.
Aside the benevolent step, the foundation provided qualified Nurses to screen the needy children. Mr. Daniel Mensah, the local Branch manager for FRANSDAN FOUNDATION said it was a necessary thing for them to give alms to the orphanage,especially,at a time the home was going through severe hardship in terms of feeding the children.
Speaking to Mr. Seth Otu in an interview with Ghsongs.com ,the founder of Great Savior Orphanage said,they don't get help from no one hence he was very happy the NGO and Akosua had come to their aid.
"We thank them for helping us this way. May God bless them",ecstatic Mr.Otu revealed.
"It will marvel you that because nobody supports us I have to farm to support these innocent children over here,and you know it will be difficult for me to do that single-handedly",he added.
Mr Otu appealed to Ghanaians and other governmental and non governmental institutions to come to their aid.
Akosua Adjepon was very excited she had been able to help the needy like the Holy Bible depicts.
She promised to use her brand to collaborate with more NGOs to change the lives of needy people across the country,but called on corporate institutions like their ilk to support more less fortunate souls.
"There is more of these to come,we are not ending here",she ended with.
