Dancehall musician Shatta Wale Disqualified at 2016 VGMA

News streaming in suggests that, Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has been disqualified at the 17th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in advance but would be considered on one condition.


According to the VGMA board, Wale doesn't qualify for this year's award ceremony unless he completes the process of officially apologising for maligning the VGMA board.

The VGMA board disclosed this at a press conference held today, February 23 in Accra.
