Contrary to previous reports that circulated on various social media sites in Ghana regarding the sack of Afia Schwarzenegger known in private life as Valentina Afia Agyeiwaa from OKAY FM,the management of the station is most likely to retain her as the host of their midmorning show.

The outspoken presenter who hitherto was the host of OKAYFM’s “Yɛ Wɔ krom” midmorning show last Thursday morning, used derogatory remarks on the member of Parliament for Assin North,Kennedy Agyapong due to a comment the MP made about president Mahama's Mother, and his brother,Ibrahim Mahama.

Afia decided to respond to Hon.Agyapong's  criticism by slamming him vehemently on live radio.

She further called him out to state what really made him wealthy, brandishing his OMANFM station as “dead”.

However, this did not go down well with vociferous Kennedy Agyapong, who reacted by insulting the comedienne and radio presenter a prostitute.

He also threatened to leak Afia's nude pictures on social media, adding that  he will deal with her to the extent that Afia will run away from Ghana.

Indeed the nude pictures of the radio presenter got flooded on social media on Friday and got Ghanaians talking about the exchange of insults between the two.

OKAY FM was criticised seriously for turning deaf ears on their presenter's attitude on air.
However rumours later on in the day wen viral that the management of the radio station had cracked the whip thus showing Afia the exit.

She was not heard on OKAY FM on Monday and Tuesday.

But a statement from OKAY FM,signed by its management  indicates that Afia Schwarzenegger might be called back to host her program though management dissociates itself from the harsh words their presenter used on the honourable MP.

"We hereby extend our unequivocal apology to the general public, Oman FM,Hon.Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, and all other persons who may have been scandalized or have suffered in anyway as a result of this incident", a portion of the release stated.

The release that was dated on Tuesday 9th February,2016 revealed that " Management is handling the issues surrounding the conduct of our presenter internally and also in the best interest of our business ".

Below is a copy of the letter.
