In Ghana, music is one element people cannot do away. In some tribes, music is even used to propose to ladies. Music becomes very important at party grounds, funerals and other festivities. Longtime before we had the current trend of music in the country, the starters were into the accapela style. Later, the local type of drums were added before it all got to what we have today.

Rap music which is another type of music was actually imported. However, unlike the American way where rap is only done in the Hiphop way, Ghanaians have gone a long way in applying the rap music in all the other genres of music which includes Gospel, High Life, Dancehall, Azonto to mention but few.

Dayz Entertainment presents top five Fante Rappers in Ghana. Who is the best rapper in the "Fanteland"? Our assessment is based on the following:
1. Consistency 2. Popularity 3. Rap Style
With these, Lets see who rules from the bottom:

5. Donzy
Donzy is famous for his "Crusade" song which include another hitmaker, Kofi Kinaata. Donzy is one of the rappers from the West side who is on form. His type of rap is on point and equally good like some of the rappers from other parts of the country. Donzy's "Akwasi Bonah's" track which included Bisa Kdei showed how good he is on raps. Donzy therefore falls on the 5th position in our chart.

4. Kofi Kinaata
The man on our list is Kofi Kinaata who is currently with High Grade Family. Kofi started as a low rapper but for sometime now, you cannot undo him from list like this. The "Odo Pa" track with Castro and Baby Jet won an award that same year. However, Kofi Kinaata is on the verge on winning an award with his "Susuka" track which has really become very popular. His type of rap has earned him a good record. Honestly speaking, Kofi Kinaata is on top form and therefore falls on our 4th position.

3. Pappy Kojo
Pappy Kojo is another high profile Fante rapper. Pappy became very popular with his "ay3 late" track which featured Ghana's top rapper Sarkodie. The "ay3 late" track became very popular and still is played. Pappy bounced back once again with "Awoa" which also featured Joey B, the Tonga hitmaker. Pappy and Kofi Kinaata and collabo between the two is much awaited by most of the fans.

2. Teephlow
Teephlow is undoubtly one of the hottest talent in the "Fanteland". After been murdered on stage by Strongman, Teephlow has showed his fans that any challenger will have a tough battle. After falling out of favour from Okyeame Kwame in "Gh's next big thing" competition, his track "The warning" which also featured Sarkodie pulled a huge cluster of fans. One other popualar track with Nero X "Nyame Dadaw" and "Amen" shows that he is on top form and deserves this position. Teephlow before the end of the year 2015 dropped another hit song "Weather no". This song shows how good he is with his rap punches. Teephlow falls on the second position on our chart.

1. Kwaw Kese
Long ago before the current version of Hip music, Kwaw Kese was there creating way for other underground Fante Rappers. Kwaw Kese who is also known "Abodam" falls on the first position. He is the "Fante Rap God".
Right after been ruled from prison, Kwaw dropped Yakubu which featured his best friend Sarkodie. Then came "Aseda", "Sweduru Agona" with Teephlow. Kwaw Kese also dropped "Ataa Ayi" and other popular tracks.
Kwaw Kese is the man behind the popularity of Fante rap. His rap style has kept him in the industry for long. He does that type of slow rap and still pull a lot of people behind him.
