Provincial police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said a provincial anti-corruption unit arrested a constable at Villiersdorp SAPS.
This follows an investigation into allegation of illegal activities by a police official.
"The 32-year-old member was arrested at 11:35 while on duty and detained at Caledon," Rwexana said.
"The suspect is expected to appear in court on charges of corruption and dealing in drugs tomorrow [Tuesday]."
Rwexana could not immediately provide details of the alleged crime.
