Showing what the channel considers “Trends” on Friday afternoon, the musical channel aired an uncensored music video from Jamaican dancehall artist Kranium which featured Ty Dollar Sign Nobody Has to Know.
This caught the attention of Shatta Wale who took to Instagram to question why he couldn’t have a music video with similar content aired on TV if Ghanaians saw nothing wrong with that from a foreigner.NP ▶ @therealkranium ft. @tydollasign - Nobody Has To Know... on your #1 Entertainment/Music Channel 💯🔥— 4syteTV (@official4SYTETV) June 3, 2016
Shatta Wale recently came under immense criticism for releasing a profane song.
This prompted the leadership of the Musicians Union of Ghana to release a statement calling on musicians to be extra cautious of the content of their music.
