JAMAN NORTH SPECIAL VOTING IN LIMBO, NAMES OF STUDENTS FOUND IN VOTER LIST

The special voting, slated for tomorrow,December 1, in the Jaman north district  in the Brong Ahafo Region hangs in the balance as names of some ineligible people have been allegedly detected on the special voters' list.

It is believed that some students of the Sampa Nurses Training College and some traders have their names on the list, which should have been filled with names of Journalists, electoral officers, and security personnel.

The constituency executives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) have raised red flag on the elections.

The district electoral officer, Diana Asamoah,when contacted, declined to inform journalists on the issue, but added that she is not aware of the development.

Currently, the officer and some executives of the NPP, NDC, CPP, and the PPP have been called to the district police headquarters at Sampa to resolve the issue.
