"X-Force" characters Shatterstar, Sunspot and Feral will not make appearances on "Deadpool 2" despite rumors to the contrary. The screenwriter Rhett Reese takes it to Twitter to put the rumors to rest. "Again, wrong," so he wrote.
"There is virtually no negative consequence for posting Hollywood rumors that turn out to be false, so the internet is drenched with them," he added. "With respect to Deadpool 2, false stories have outnumbered true stories by a large, large margin. Stay skeptical. Avoid the worst offenders."
The "Deadpool" sequel is due June 1, 2018 stateside. Directed by David Leitch, the film will see Ryan Reynolds returning as the Merc with a Mouth, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Josh Brolin is added as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino.
