It is often said that, it is only a fool who doesn’t change his mind.<br />

Yes, barely 2 months after reigning insults at and calling for the head of the president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour otherwise known as Obour, Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has appealed to and called for support for the president during the final two (2) years of his administration.<br />
<br />
In a post on Facebook, the dancehall artist with a countless number of hit songs admitted to openly criticizing Obour but admonished it would be worth it should all come on board to support the administration to better execute the plans he has for musicians.<br />

Speaking exclusively to Bice Osei Kuffour, Obour revealed that ,the news come as a “refreshing development”.<br />

“Shatta Wale has been one of my critiques and and so it comes as a refreshing development that he sees the need to call for support and not to condemn what we have been up to. You realize I took this job as an active musician and only wish to see the best for the industry so it’s good to welcome everyone who wants to see the best for this industry.”<br />

It is immediately unknown what could have called for the change of mind by Shatta Wale.<br />

Information we are picking up from the camp of Shatta Wale the dancehall king indicate that the artiste should be heading to court soon.<br />

According to a sources, Shatta Wale and his team are considering suing Yaa Pono for calling shatta wale's wife a lesbian. It is not ruled out, though, that a deal could be reached between the parties to properly compensate the star.<br />
<br />
The beef between Yaa Pono and Shatta Wale escalated after the former was denied an opportunity to perform at a concert headlined by Shatta Wale in Cape Coast in the Central region last month.<br />
<br />
The organizers of the concert later explained that Yaa Pono was unable to perform because they were running out of time and therefore had to cut down on the performances.<br />
<br />
Things got ugly when the two released diss tracks to attack each other.<br />

Slip Music boss, Mark Okraku-Mantey never treated any of the artistes he worked with, with dignity and as such any of them who hails him is a big fool, says dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.<br />

According to Shatta Wale, Okraku-Mantey never respected artistes he signed unto his label, neither did he show them “God’s way”.<br />
<br />
“God’s way is when you show people the road to succeed. Okraku-Mantey is not like that. That is why his artistes fight him. I know so many things he has done to many artistes. If any artiste speaks good of him, that artiste is a fool. He always goes for talented artistes just to make money and cares not about their wellbeing. When I heard he had parted ways with Kumi Guitar, I said, ‘wow, I knew it was going to happen. He is selfish,” the ‘Obordorbidi’ hit maker said.<br />

He further stated that Okraku-Mantey years ago gave him two cedis for transportation after he (Shatta) worked on a song for George Jarah who was signed unto the record label. This he believes shows that the music critic has no respect for persons nor himself.<br />

“I’m jabbing him because I feel this time around he is being overly disrespectful. He is nobody. If he is disrespecting others, I have to talk. He has not studied music in any school. He doesn’t even speak good English. I attended Winneba School of Music. Even if he has schooled, he got ‘Fs’. Even if he is educated, he should have school sense. Okraku-Mantey doesn’t have common sense,” he added.

Manager for Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale, Julio Cyriaano Olympio has detailed why Yaa Pono did not perform at a recent event held at the Cape Coast sports stadium.<br />
<br />
Hours after the show, news broke that Yaa Pono was prevented from performing on the night for unknown reasons.<br />
<br />
This has since led to speculations with many speculating a supposed beef between both artists.<br />
<br />
In an exclusive interview with <i>Nydjlive</i>, <a href="http://www.ghsongs.com/2017/02/yaa-pono-was-prevented-from-performing.html">Yaa Pono revealed the decision to prevent him from performing was an act of cowardice.</a><br />
<br />
“We left Tamale for Kumasi and later flew in to Cape Coast hoping to put up a great show but eventually, the organizers put up an act of cowardice by disallowing us from performing. I’m sure they were scared we will take over the show since the people of Cape Coast like me more than any other act and were calling for me.”<br />
<br />
<br />
However, throwing some light on the real events that happened on the night, manager for Shatta Wale Julio in a post explained his team could no longer wait till dawn to perform when they had been present at the event grounds earlier.<br />
<br />
He also stated it was not fair for the fans of his artist to wait for long for long hours before he performs.<br />
<br />

“How many times do we stand still and watch organisers mess up with the Brand…why do we always have to go on stage at 4am…when our fans arrive at 6pm…we expect them to stand from 6pm to 4am before they watch their king perform…<br />

you give us 12pm then we always have to compromise and allow every act to go on stage and the excuse is “we’ve been trying to reach them but they aren’t picking their calls ..<br />
<br />
Our road manager is always at the venue from 6 pm coordinating and waiting for organisers to give us the green light…Shatta has made it a point to suggest Yaa pono anytime event organisers ask which acts he wants on his platform so why this unnecessary Rants..when clearly it’s either your road manager isn’t working with time or rather direct your rants to the producers of the event…<br />

Rashad Sfarijlani (popularly known as Ara – B) claims in a latest statement that the real reason he was fired by dancehall singer Shatta Wale in 2011, was that he once mounted  a Stonebwuoy stage in Kumasi.<br />
<br />
‘‘I was called upon by the Go Higher hitmaker  Stonebwoy to perform at his show in Kumasi which I sought permission from Shatta and he agreed. On my way back after the show, I received a text from Shatta that our relationship is now strictly business but I didn’t understand what exactly he meant. I tried reaching him several times for us to talk about it but he didn’t answer the call and never called me back”, Ara claims.<br />
<br />
The former TV presenter also claims to have supported Shatta in his early days, and stayed away from contractural agreements in the name of brotherhood, only to be betrayed in the end.<br />
<br />
The “dancehall prince”, as he is formerly known, is said to have founded his own music outfit Osumania Entertainment (OSM), to promote his songs including Me Nah Watch Unu, his latest single, and looks to put the whole episode behind him.

An ardent fan of dancehall singer Shatta Wale: Sekley Moses, received the ultimate New Year’s gift Sunday morning at Tigo Ghana’s Festival of Lights and Music which came off at the Junction mall in Accra.<br />

An overwhelmed Shatta Wale couldn’t hold back tears as he watched viral videos by Moses before presenting him with keys to the vehicle.<br />
<br />
Other prizes as educational materials, iPhones and laptops were given to other fans who have been supportive to Shatta on social media, including Abena Jamaica, Bilal Larry, little Shatta Berry, and Nikita.<br />
<br />
Before giving out the gifts, Shatta Wale served fans with an assortment of his hits including Cocoa Season, Talk Talk, Hol It, Kakai, Obodobidi, Bie Gya, If I Collect, and Kpuu Kpaa.<br />
<br />
Hosted by Starr FM’s Giovani Caleb with music from DJ Vyrusky, the show also witnessed performances from spoken-word act Zerben, the Patch Bay Band, and Cwesi Oteng, and inspirational singer Obaapa Christy.<br />

Controversial Ghanaian Dancehall artist ,Nii Armah Mensah known in the showbiz circle as Shatta Wale has come out through a Facebook post 
on the current brouhaha on who is winning or loosing in the 2016 general election.<br />

He has therefore 
charged  the stakeholders responsible for credible elections to declare 
the results in favour of Mahama or Nana Addo in order not to create 
problems.<br />

Many had called for peace and unity among two of Ghana’s finest dancehall artists Samini and Shatta Wale and the two finally smoked the peace pipe as they thrilled thousands of fans at the Saminifest 2016 held over the week in Accra.<br />
<br />
Indeed December 3 2016 will go down as a historic day as the two defied the heavy rains that poured ahead of the rains.<br />
<br />
The two went on to preach peace and called for unity among Ghanaians as we approached the elections.<br />
