Newly appointed Communications Director of the NPP, Nana Akomea has described the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC] as “chopocratic cocainistic government.”

According to him, the Nayele Ametefeh cocaine saga will forever hang on the neck of the NDC like an albatross even if the party if they rebuffed to tell Ghanaians the real identity of the lady baron and her link to the NDC party.

He noted that, Ghanaians and mainly the NPP, will not shun from politicizing the case since the NDC did same to the NPP when in government.

“This case is a political matter. They [NDC] tagged the NPP as a cocaine party so why are they running from their own utterances now?” he questioned.

Discussing Nayele Ametefeh 12.5 kilos of cocaine saga on AsempaFM, Nana Akomea expressed shock at how the lady with "three" passports and several names could use the VVIP lounge of the Kotoka International Airport in Accra with the huge narcotic on her freely.

“NDC party is a cocaine party and their government is a cocaine government. They can never escape that,” he said

Recalling circumstances when the NDC never ceased from labelling the NPP flagbearer a cocaine addict even though he [Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo] had openly and stridently debunked such allegations, Nana Akomea, noted that the opposition party has a keen interest in how Nayele Ametefeh's case will be heard in London and how the NDC government will react to it.

“We will follow this case very carefully,” the NPP's Communications Director stated.
