“This is show business; it’s normal. I am not worried about what people will say on what I wear. Sometimes I go cool, other times I go ‘hot’ or normal. Those who criticize me should check themselves If they don’t do worse,” she hinted.
The beautiful actress also revealed that, although there are cultural norms and societal pressures on what people put on, we shouldn’t forget that people also have their own norms and values and should be respected.
“I have a mixed culture because I am not a full Ghanaian. I am of a mixed race, so when I speak about different cultures, that’s what I mean,” she explained.
Nikki lamented that if it was to be a church or out-dooring service, she might not have donned the dress she wore to the Awards night. “It was for a music event. If I was going to church, I wouldn’t wear it to church, so it depends on where I am going to and the choice of dress. I don’t care about what people will say,” she exploded.
When she was questioned about her main motive for wearing such dress and if it was intended to attract attention, she responded that, if her dress was not attractive, the reporter wouldn’t have approached her for an interview.
