A Kumasi circuit court has rescheduled the hearing of the case against
hiplife artiste, Emmanuel Botchway, a.k.a Kwaw Kese to Tuesday, December
23. Kwaw Kese was due to make his fourth bail attempt on Monday,
December 22. He was arrested by the Kumasi Police on exactly one month
ago on Saturday, November 22, for allegedly smoking cannabis in
public.He has since been remanded in prison custody and has been refused
bail on three consecutive occasions. Meanwhile, Viasat1 News
understands Kwaw Kese was moved out of prison custody early Monday.
According to reports, he was sent to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to
have his medical report reviewed.The hiplife artiste will be expected in
court tomorrow, Tuesday, to know his fate as to whether or not he will
spend the Christmas holidays in prison.
