Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese appeared in court today but the judge presiding over the case was absent.

Justice William Boampong, the judge hearing Kwaw Kese’s case who threatened to free the musician if prosecutors fail to bring their witness at the next sitting, was not seen on the judge seat this morning inside the Kumasi Metropolitan Circuit Court.

Even though Rapper Kwaw Kese, his Lawyer Nana Kwasi Boatey and Prosecutor, Superintendent Emmanuel Akornnor were present in court, the judge’s absent made it impossible for the case to be heard.  The case has since been adjourned to February 27 2015.

The “Swedru Agona” Rapper is standing trial for allegedly smoking a substance believed to be wee in public, after he was arrested and locked up at the Kumasi central prisons on November 22, 2014 in the Ashanti Region.

Meanwhile, Kwaw Kese is set to spend the Valentine’s Day with inmates of the Kumasi Central Prisons and the Komfo Anokyi Teaching Hospital. The “Nonsense” Hit maker will donate several times items to both institutions and spend time with them as his way of showing love and supporting the needy in society.
