By virtue of this success, Elliot is expected to represent the people of Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly in the next four years.
He contested under the All Progressive Congress and defeated his opponent of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bayo Smith.
Although the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is yet to officially declare the result, Elliot and some of his supporters are already celebrating the supposed victory.
