BET Replies Fuse ODG, Wizkid And Yemi Alade

BET says they do not present the Best International Act – Africa and UK awards to the winners at backstage. Top African acts like Fuse ODG, Yemi Alade and Wizkid have been complaining of the awards organisers disrespecting Africans and other people for presenting the awards to their various at a backstage event.

Replying a fan who complained that the 2015 BET Best International Act – UK was given to Ghanaian-born UK-based artiste, Stomzy at a backstage, they said it was not a backstage event.

In a sharp reply, the Best International Act instagram account said “this was not backstage. tt was on the BET Awards stage.”
