2 Chainz and Flo Rida squared off at this weekend's BET Awards ... and one of them won by a neck.

Both showed up with giant jewel-encrusted chains ... it's debatable who's got the bigger and badder bling ... but both look like they could cover a kid's college tuition.

One thing's for sure ... sometimes one is enough ... even for 2 Chainz.
