He said“looking at the hard works of artist like Sarkodie, Samini, Shatta Wale, Bisa Kdei and others, I will say we are crossing borders with our music but we got more room for improvement”.
He added by saying: I don’t listen to most Ghanaian songs especially hiplife music, “most songs doesn’t make sense and I feel like vomiting listening to such tracks”.He advised all musicians to do good music that will last. Artist shouldn’t think about the money that will go into their pockets but rather songs which will bring something positive in the lives of their listeners, he advised.
The musicians’ unions should do their best for musicians to get what they deserve after hard work. Good structures and research Centre is also needed for musicians both upcoming and all talented artist, he stressed.
