Young Thug waived his right to appear at a preliminary hearing in a Dekalb County court Monday, but the case can go forward without him, reports the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.
During preliminary hearings, judges decide whether there is sufficient evidence for a case to proceed.
Thug, whose birth name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested on July 15 for allegedly threatening to kill a mall security guard, earlier in the month. Federal authorities raided his home after the arrest, adding marijuana, cocaine, and weapons charges to the 22-year-old's rap sheet. He was released from custody days later.
Thugger was also named in a Lil Wayne murder plot along with Birdman, who denied involvement in the alleged plan.
