Music they say is dynamic. That is, as time goes on, new ways of doing music comes to take over the old ways. Longtime ago, we use to enjoy music but you know what, we couldn't say anything because that was all that we got.
However, as time went on, the revolution set in. Today, Sarkodie is doing something most of the artists in Ghana cannot do. Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Mzvee, Obrafour, Okyeame Kwame, Shegee Styla, Strongman and all those big boys and girls over there are also doing music in another style. That is their style of music is very different and great.
In this way, there are a lot of great artists down there. They are doing good music but no one seems to pay attention to them. One funny thing is that, music people have heard their songs without knowing who they really are. Without wasting much time, let me quickly introduce five people in Ghana who are actually doing good music.
1. Papa Elliot:
This guy is really a top artist. He hails from Takoradi. Surprisely, his very first hit track "Takoradi". became a hit track and people didn't know who it was. The song talked a lot the town Takoradi and Western region as a whole. If you are a music lover and you are yet to hear this song, then you missing a great deal. His latest and hot track is "Back to sender" and this one features another high rated rapper by name Hindu. This track is also really great and I will recommend you to listen to it for free. 2. QuaAnane Gh:
Quame is also another serious artist in Techiman. His first song which looked a little gospel was another Big Banger. His songs contains such good raps. Interestingly, he has been on top form at the moment and have had a lot of opportunities exhibiting his talents on a lot of programmes with a lot of high profile artists. His latest track which is also another hit track is "Last Warning. He is a good rapper and Ghanaians should expect him soon on top.
3. Ntintan Kwaku:
His name is really a big one so is his songs. Most of his songs are in the Highlife format. Some of his songs include: "Odo mpaso", "Akokyem". Ntintan is also making good music however, many do not know that he sang those songs. As I keep on saying, these people will surprise the world with their style of music very soon.
4. Sebastian:
This dude is just a young guy but he is very serious with music. And honestly, he is doing the Dancehall in his own way. One of his popular track "My Baby" shows how good he is. 5. Koo Ntakra:
Ntakra is a highly rated artist. Though, he has achieved some much fame, he still remain underground because the exponsure has not been enough.
