Ghana's Fastest Rapper Sarkodie's Advise To The Youth (MUST READ)

Sarkodie is undoubtedly one of the best gifts to Ghana music. There is a saying that, "the beginnings of a great person is mostly unknown". Nobody actually knew what he will become until today. Even as a young man, he is seen to be a legend in his own way.

After launching his "Mary" album, The "Illuminati" hit maker has dropped several tracks. However, I want us to limit our discussion on his latest track "Hand to Mouth". Most music lovers actually do not listen to the lyrics or the words that make up the song. Like me and some of the youth, our delight is in the "beats" and the "punchlines". First, Sarkodie was more concern with the lifestyles of the youth today. He spoke on drugs precisely smoking, drunkenness and fornication. This is very true today. Most of our television adverts are ruled with "alcoholic" announcements. Most our youths are into drunkenness and smoking. The little money is misused on worldly desires. Sarkodie stressed that people who go about drinking and smoking will grow old without a single property to boast with.

Further, the BET award winner also touched on one of the hot topics today. He said most of the youth will not go for any "normal girl" instead will choose to be with a "pretty and expensive girl". With all this poverty, the youth will still choose to be with girls who will in the end finish out the little they got.

Sarkodie also advised the youth to use the little they have gathered to build a house. He even advised people to save with UT Bank. "Get some cement house and start with the foundation", he said. "Secure your life and stop been in the clubs. He also advised the ladies who will wish to depend on their husbands. "Get yourself a job and stop depending on your husbands and boyfriends".

Interestingly, Sarkodie, could not conclude the song without talking about people who wouldn't buy some lands but rather buying cars and all the partying.  "Most youths of today are not very wise. Instead of building a house, they will rather hire an apartment for two years which could have helped them build something".

More importantly, the dope rapper warned some of the lecturers who will go about having an affair with their students. "Lecturer, the government will pay you. Your pay is not the girls", he warned. Today, it is a known fact that some of the lecturers in our various universities go about "sleeping" with their female students. He said, its bad and that, they should desist from it.

"Maybe you are a taxi driver or sell coconut, whatever money you earn, make sure you don't waste it on drinks. Use it to build a house", he concluded.
