Mourinho is a perfect choice for Manchester United

Former Liverpool and England defender, and now Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Carragher has said that he cannot see José Mourinho managing Manchester United, although Thierry Henry thinks Mou could replace Louis van Gaal in the Old Trafford dugout.

Ex-Liverpool captain Carragher thinks that Mourinho's playing style does not fit with Manchester United's attacking philosophy, whilst Henry believes that if United's cross-city rivals Manchester City bring in Pep Guardiola, the Red Devils would need to sign a big-name manager too. "Mourinho can be the perfect fit. At his time at Chelsea at the beginning, with [Arjen] Robben and [Damien] Duff, [Eidur] Gudjohnsen in the middle, and Didier Drogba arrived after, they were a good team going forward", said former Arsenal and Barcelona man Henry.
