"In music, there are times where you need to take a while off. No artist in Ghana can go into hiding. We only went off to do something big to shock our fans. We went off to do some rebranding. This is very necessary in our quest to make it big. However, I want my fans to know that am back again".
Quata was also quizzed on whether he still rules as the fastest rapper in Ghana.
"I started with the tongue twisting before anybody else.I was the first person to do it in Twi and even got endorsed before anybody else. However, Sarkodie is taking tongue twisting to another level. He is on the right direction. Gemini is also doing it great and am glad"
The "Baby" hitmaker also revealed that most of his songs are done in Twi because he learnt it well
"People who listen to my raps are very happy to hear the amount of twi language because I learnt twi before doing music with it. I needed to be original and that was it"
Quata is out with six songs at the moment including "Pumpum shots" and "Wind and Go low" which is receiving serious airplays. At the moment, He is on a record label from USA called Bakus Entertainment.
In order to spark up his come back, the versatile artist is on a nationwide tour dubbed Quata and friends. This tour is a free street carnival where most of his songs are performed to entertain fans.
