Los Angeles - Adele's friends always want to see her Oscar when they come over to her house.
The 27-year-old singer scooped the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2013 for her track Skyfall, the theme song to the James Bond film of the same name starring Daniel Craig as 007.
Adele's pals are always keen to hold the statuette - which is "very heavy' - when they visit her and she has joked they are more interested in the golden trophy than her.
She said: "Having an Oscar is amazing. The statue is really heavy and now when anyone comes round my house the first thing they say is not, 'How are you?' It's always, 'Can I see your Oscar?'"
