Durban – The murder case against President Jacob Zuma's nephew, taxi boss Mfundo Gcaba, and 11 others was on Wednesday postponed by the Durban Magistrate's Court to May 20 for further investigations.

The State has had to sift through a mountain of evidence, processing 150 spent cartridges, photographs, and DNA. The accused face charges of murder, attempted murder, and public violence.

The 12 were arrested on September 16 last year after a shooting at the Brook Street taxi rank in the Durban CBD. Three people, including a commuter, were killed.

The shooting was believed to have been prompted by a long-standing dispute between the Sonke and Zamokuhle Long Distance Taxi Associations over the Port Shepstone route
