He died in London, Sunday Morning.
His death was confirmed to Kasapafmonline.com, by his aide, Brian Acheampong.
It will be recalled there were rumours in December last year that the former Minister of State in the John Agyekum Kufour administration had died in South Africa.
Barely twenty four hours after news went viral on social media and public chat platforms of the supposed passing away, Mr. Obetsebi-Lamptey responded to the claims suggesting they were false.
Speaking to Kasapa FM then, the former Chief of Staff in the erstwhile Kufour Administration who later held several other portfolios, said the rumours were malicious and in bad taste.
“Those are pure lies; i wonder why people would want to say such things. I am healthy and alive.”
But his Special aide Brian Acheampong on Sunday March 20 2016, has confirmed his demise.
