Drake, Rihanna and Beyonce leads BET Awards 2016 nominees list

The full list of nominees for the 2016 BET Awards has been announced, and Rihanna, Beyonce and Drake happen to have the most nods.

Drake is leading the nominations list for this year’s BET Awards – and with the epic success of his latest album, ‘Views’, and lead single ‘One Dance’ it’s no surprise he’s received a mighty 9 nods!

Rihanna and Beyonce are both battling it out with 5 nominations each – after both surprising us with new records ‘ANTI’ and ‘Lemonade’ respectively.

Ghana’s very own MzVee was also able receive a nomination in the Best International Act Africa category.
