Madonna hits back at BET After Criticism Over Prince Tribute

Madonna isn’t afraid of a little social media beef. After BET scoffed at her Prince tribute at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Madge responded last week with an earnest defense of her “Nothing Compares 2 U” and “Purple Rain” covers. Now, she’s going in even more.

On May 29, Madonna posted a photo of her wearing a jacket Prince gifted her years ago, along with a strongly worded BET reference and… a Marilyn (“Calling Your Name”) cameo.
