Born Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey, she first came to public attention for her participation in Charter House’s Starts Of The Future singing contest.
The KaakitUp album is scheduled for the Urban O Club (Osu), and will also be graced by Trigmatic, Dr Pounds, DJ Vision, DJ Killer Fingers among others.
Kaakie, 25, won Reggae and Dancehall Artiste of the year, and New Artist of the Year at the 2013 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. She also won Best Female Vocalist at the BASS Awards that year. She has collaborated with a-list colleagues as Samini, Stonebwoy, and Edem.
