<a href="https://www.aceshowbiz.com/celebrity/vin_diesel/">Vin Diesel</a> has seemingly confirmed the return of two major contributors in "The Fast and the Furious" film franchise. During a Facebook Live on Wednesday, October 25, the 50-year-old actor revealed that he's working on something "top secret" involving Jordana Brewster and director Justin Lin, the latter of whom is in "advanced talks" to return to the helmer's chair.<br />

In addition to teasing details from the "kick-ass set" of the next installment of the racing-turned-heist film series, Vin dubbed Justin, who directed the third to sixth "Fast" films, a "forefather" and "architect" of the movie franchise. "Guess who the director is! You're not going to believe this... the one responsible for resurrecting this beautiful saga. Justin Lin!" the muscled actor shouted.<br />
<br />
"It's Justin Lin! And the crowd goes wild," Vin said upon revealing Justin's presence. "It's a three-point shot that made 9 and 10 incredible. You wanted 9 and 10 to be incredible." Amid the ongoing feud between his co-stars Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Vin continued, "We've heard your concerns about the saga and where it needs to arrive in its final chapters."<br />

"Justin Lin is so old school, he's so part of the DNA of the 'Fast' mythology, that while we're on set today, the one person he wanted to be here immediately, just as he started to feel that sense of Dom, that sense of Toretto, that sense of the 'Fast and Furious' universe and the responsibility of that... he wanted someone who is a part of the brotherhood, when you go past gender," he continued. "He wanted someone very important to be here, and it's someone you all have been asking for."<br />

Vin then panned the camera to Jordana. "It feels like no time has passed at all!" shared the Mia Toretto depicter. "This is so exciting.... There's nobody more Torretto than my sister, Jordana Brewster, who is Mia Torretto," Vin gushed. "And those of you who know the franchise know how much of a badass she is." <br />

Vin also shared a heartwarming photo from the set of what could be "Fast and Furious 9". "On the road back to our roots... Family reunited!" so he captioned the snap featuring him, his on-screen sister and the helmer. <br />

Stephen King got some revenge on Donald Trump. After the president blocked him on Twitter, the book author is now banning Trump from seeing the upcoming movie "It" or the currently showing TV series "Mr. Mercedes", which are both based on his books.<br />

"Donald Trump blocked me on Twitter. I am hereby blocking him from seeing IT or MR. MERCEDES. No clowns for you, Donald. Go float yourself," King tweeted on late Thursday, August 24. It's unclear how the 69-year-old author will prevent Trump from getting access to both adaptations of his works.<br />

"IT", starring Bill Skarsgard as evil clown Pennywise, will open in theaters across the nation on September 8. It's intended as the first installment of a planned duology.<br />

As for "Mr. Mercedes", it airs every Thursday on Audience network starting August 9. The story centers on a cat-and-mouse game between a retired detective and a serial killer who claimed sixteen lives when he drove a stolen Mercedes through a line of job-seekers at a local job fair.<br />
<br />
King made the move after Trump blocked him from the president's personal account on Twitter in June. "Trump has blocked me from reading his tweets. I may have to kill myself," King revealed to his Twitter followers at the time. He wrote in another post, "Blocked! Condemned to an existential wasteland of Trumplessness!"<br />
<br />
King is known for being critical of Trump. Hours before being blocked by Trump, King criticized Trump's cabinet as writing, "Trump's cabinet offers a postgraduate-level course in a**-kissing."<br />
<br />
Fellow literary icon J.K. Rowling then came to the rescue, offering to DM Trump's tweet to King so that he could still get access to the president's frequently controversial tweets. "I still have access. I'll DM them to you," wrote the "Harry Potter" author.<br />
<br />
King is not the only person that can no longer get access to Trump's tweets. Following numerous jabs at the president, Chrissy Teigen was banned from seeing his tweets on his personal account since July.

Warner Bros. Pictures has set a release date for "Wonder Woman 2". The studio announced on early Tuesday evening, July 25 that the follow-up to this year's box office hit movie would open in theaters across the nation on December 13, 2019.<br />

"Wonder Woman 2" is the only movie slated for December 13, 2019 as of now. The release date announcement comes a week after the studio set dates for a series of films, including two unnamed DC movies for February 14, 2020 and June 5, 2020.<br />
<br />
Gal Gadot has been confirmed to reprise her role as the DC heroine in the "Wonder Woman" sequel which will also be screened in IMAX, while the return of director Patty Jenkins has yet to be fully confirmed by the studio.<br />

Disney has released the first photos of its upcoming fantasy movie "A Wrinkle in Time". Making their way out via Entertainment Weekly, the pictures give first official look at Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Chris Pine in the movie.<br />

Winfrey sports platinum blonde hair as Mrs. Which, Witherspoon rocks red locks as Mrs. Whatsit, and Kaling looks like an Egyptian goddess in her short black wig as Mrs. Who. Pine plays Mr. Murry, the scientist father of the main character Meg (Storm Reid).<br />

There are also pictures of Meg walking in the woods with Calvin (Levi Miller) and director Ava DuVernay giving direction to Reid.<br />

Meg later meets peculiar Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which, who later send Meg, her brother and her friend to space to find Dr. Murry.<br />

Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays Meg's mother, Dr. Kate Murry. "The idea of making Meg a brown girl and making her family multicultural makes sense," DuVernay told ESSENCE.com during a set visit earlier this year. "To do things the same way because that's the way they've always been done, is something I can't abide."<br />
<br />
Of casting Winfrey, Witherspoon and Kaling as the magical trio, she says to EW, "With these women, I wondered, could we make them women of different ages, body types, races? Could we bring in culture, bring in history in their costumes? And in the women themselves, could we just reflect a fuller breadth of femininity?"<br />
<br />
Jennifer Lee wrote the script for the adventure film. It is slated for a March 9, 2018 release in the U.S.<br />

Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury is set to make his return in a Marvel movie. Following rumors which swirled during the Independence Day holiday, Deadline has now confirmed that the veteran movie actor will reprise his role as Avengers architect and recruiter in "Captain Marvel".<br />
<br />
Jackson, thus, will join Brie Larson who has been tapped to play the title role a.k.a. Carol Danvers. Other cast members have not been announced yet, but Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are on board to direct the female-led superhero movie.<br />
<br />
Nick Fury was last seen in 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Prior to his appearance in "The Avengers" sequel, he was critically shot and hospitalized in 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".<br />
<br />
"Captain Marvel" follows Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who gains powers after her DNA becomes fused with an alien after an accident. Screenwriter Nicole Perlman previously revealed that it wouldn't be a straight adaptation of the comic book to avoid similarities with DC's Green Lantern.<br />
<br />
The movie is slated for a March 8, 2019 release in the U.S.<br />

"<a href="http://www.aceshowbiz.com/movie/despicable_me_3/">Despicable Me 3</a>" is a new champion at North American box office. The animated threequel tops the chart with an estimated $75.4 million on the Fourth of July weekend, despite opening lower than expectations of $85M-$90M.<br />
<br />
Internationally, the movie fares better with an estimated $95.6 million from 52 territories this weekend. This should bring its international cume to $116.9 million so far.<br />
<br />
"This is an outstanding performance across the board," said Universal's international distribution chief Duncan Clark. "We've got a number of huge territories yet to release, so this is a very, very strong foundation for us."<br />
<br />
The Universal Pictures movie's performance is the latest sign of sequel fatigue, following the disappointing domestic performance of "Transformers: The Last Knight". The fifth installment of the "Transformers" film franchise drops two places to No. 3 on its second weekend with an estimated $17 million, or dropping 62% from last week.<br />
<br />
Another newcomer, "Baby Driver", drives off beyond expectations with approximately $21 million over the three-day weekend and should see a five-day gross over $30 million. Landing on the runner-up place, the music-driven heist flick is by far the largest opening for director Edgar Wright. It nearly doubles the $10.6 million "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" collected on its debut weekend in 2010 and is likely to become Wright's highest grossing domestic release.<br />

The critically-acclaimed movie doesn't enjoy much boost from the Fourth of July holiday, since adults won't take their kids to watch the R-rated film. Still, it drew both young and old, with 40% of ticket buyers comprising of people under the age of 25.<br />
<br />
"It is great to see a non-IP film breakthrough this summer. It is a shot in the arm for anyone who supports original filmmaking," said Sony worldwide president of marketing and distribution Josh Greenstein. The movie boasts a star-studded cast which includes Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jon Hamm, Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx.<br />
<br />
Placing fourth is "Wonder Woman", which adds an estimated $16.1 million in its fifth week. This brings its domestic gross to $346.6 million so far. "Cars 3" rounds out the top five with approximately $9.5 million or dropping 60.4%.<br />
<br />
R-rated comedy "The House" starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler has a quite opening, debuting in the sixth place with an estimated $9 million this weekend. It is one of the worst openings of Ferrell's career.<br />

The trailer introduces Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle, an alicorn princess who spreads friendship and harmony throughout Equestria. Her homeland is "filled with magic, music and most importantly friendship." Her life "is perfect," before her town of Ponyville is threatened by the Storm King, a satyr-like conqueror whose voice is provided by Liev Schreiber.<br />

In order to stop the threat, Princess Twilight Sparkle enlists the help of her friends, Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rainbow Dash (Ashleigh), Pinkie Pie (Andrea Libman), Fluttershy (Andrea) and Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain). Jolie has expressed her thoughts about the film in a press realese. "I am proud to be a part of this beautiful film with this timely and very important subject matter," she says. "Millions of girls around the world have to grow up before their time, working to provide for their families at a very young age and in difficult circumstances. They have the strength to do what no one should ask little girls to do."<br />

"I hope this film is able to bring this discussion to a broader audience," Jolie adds. "As much as it is an important and very meaningful film, it also stands on its own as a great piece of art. Director Nora Twomey and her team have done something very special. They have breathed life into the characters and paid respect to the subject matter and to a country where women often struggle," she continues.<br />
