Wakaso recovers from Illness to make Celtic squad for Motherwell clash

Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is back in the Celtic squad after missing the last four games with an illness.

The 24-year-old takes his place on the Hoops’ bench for Saturdays Scottish League match at Motherwell.

Wakaso has not played for his club since his return from international duty last month where he helped the Black Stars secure qualification to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The former Espanyol man was reported to have suffered an unspecified illness.

He is however back fit and was named in Celtic’s matchday team for the game against Motherwell.

Manager Rony Deila howver chose to start the rugged midfielder from the bench even though is expected to be involved in the game.
