David Duncan worried about lack of quality transfers

Former Hearts of Oak Head Coach, David Duncan, says most clubs in the Ghana Premier League do not recruit quality players and adds that the current transfer window is not an exception.

Duncan, who is yet to sign a deal with Great Olympics, is saddened Kumasi Asante Kotoko looks miles ahead of their competitor’s in terms of transfers.

Though the likes of Hearts of Oak were very active in the transfer market, the capture of Emmanuel Clottey, the return of Seidu Bancey and Yusif Abdul Aziz to Kotoko will make the reigning Ghana Premier League champions difficult to beat.

And this has frightened David Duncan who wrote on his twitter page, “It’s looking like a one horse race even before the FCPL kick starts. The other clubs seem to be content with the tag ‘also runs, with Kotoko looking impregnable”.

The First Capital Plus Premier League, which is set to start on January 18, is expected to thrill fans across the country.
