IN SPITE OF the strong rebuttal and open condemnation from the ruling NDC Communicators over the prophecy that projects NPP Flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo as the next President of Ghana in 2016, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, the messenger of the prophecy, says he still stands by his prediction.

The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International, predicted that three-times flagbearer of the opposition NPP, Nana Akufo Addo will win the upcoming 2016 presidential election.

According to him, God has revealed to him that the former Attorney-General will be given the nod by Ghanaians, although there may be some challenges; adding “some events will occur again and that is what might bring about problems.”

Based on the prophecy, the Eastern Regional Secretariat of the ruling NDC accused Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah of being a conduit for the preparation of the grounds for chaos ahead of the 2016 elections.

Eastern Regional Communication Director of the party, Baba Jamal stated on Okay Fm’s "Ade Akye Abia" programme that Rev. Owusu Bempah is preparing the minds of Ghanaians for chaos if Nana Addo does not win the 2016 election.

“We are calling on the National Security to call Rev. Owusu Bempah to order because he is preparing the grounds for chaos in the 2016 elections.”

To him, if Rev. Owusu Bempah is a good prophet, he should have been able to predict for the entire nation to know the players in the Black Stars who were going to miss the final penalty against Ivory Coast.

But reacting to the issue on the same platform, Rev. Owusu Bempah said he still stands by his prophecy until God tells him otherwise as he continues to pray for the country.

“I am still praying and if by December 31 God reveals something to me, I will still say it and if God reveals to me again in 2016 about Nana Addo, I will say it. I will never change what God has told me about Nana Addo. I want to alert all the NDC members and those insulting me that their people come to me and so if I’m a false prophet, why do they keep coming to me for prayers? They should be careful and stop insulting pastors”, he warned.

He stressed that no amount of threat can stop him from speaking the mind of God to Ghanaians irrespective of who is affected by the prophecy, insisting he is not afraid of death or of anybody to keep quiet over God’s prophecy.

“So if they are doing this for us to stop praying for Ghana and to keep quiet over what God has said, then it is not me, Owusu Bempah”, he charged.

He however advised the NPP and Nana Akufo Addo not to sit idle over the prophecy as prayers and good measures will be required to ensure that the prophecy comes to pass.

“If Nana Addo and NPP will be prayerful and put measures in place, then the prophecy of God will come to pass……they must be truthful in their activities and support Nana Addo”, he advised.
