Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown lead this years BET Awards nominations with six nods apiece but someone ain't happy about it...

'Ice Princess' and all round lover of a rant, Azealia Banks, who is herself nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist alongside Minaj, took to Twitter to vent about Minaj's many nods tweeting: "The female rap award at the bet awards goes to nicki every year, it's not even a real award anymore lol it's a bit of a running joke.

"They should just nominate nicki five times with five different wigs on and pick the best picture lol" (sic).

Brown and Minaj face each other for the Best Collaboration, Video of the Year and the Viewers' Choice Award while other artists up for gongs include Beyoncé and Lil Wayne who have four nominations each, and our Sam Smith who's up for two awards.

Also flying the flag for the Brits in the International Act: UK category are FKA Twigs Fuse ODG, Lethal Bizzle, Little Simz, MNEK and Stormzy.
