Rowan Atkinson's wife has been granted a divorce on the grounds of his "unreasonable behaviour".
Sunetra Sastry was granted the decree nisi by a district judge at the Central Family Court in London.
The couple had been married for 24 years after meeting when Ms Sastry worked as a make-up artist at the BBC in the 1980s.
They reportedly separated last year and Atkinson, 60, has been in a relationship with actress Louise Ford since then.
The Mr Bean and Blackadder star was not present at the brief proceedings at the court.
Divorce papers made public did not give any details relating to the "unreasonable behaviour".
The County Durham-born actor and his wife have two children.
Atkinson is a keen collector of cars and is thought to be worth around £85m.
Earlier this year he sold a rare McLaren F1, which was only ever owned by him, for £8m.
The case was the fourth in a list of 26 before District Judge Stephen Alderson for decrees and orders to be made under the "quickie" procedure.
