The charming Prince was first spotted on Tuesday chatting to USA Invictus Team Member Elizabeth Marks at the track and field events.
The 31-year-old then presented the Arizona-born a Gold Medal for winning the swimming final and shared a moving moment when Elizabeth gave her gold medal back to take to the British hospital that helped her when she fell ill at the 2014 Invictus Games.
Their bonding was later taken to the competitors tent where the two chatted and Elizabeth even squeezed Harry into her swimming team jacket.
The Daily Mail reports Elizabeth’s life was saved on the night before the first Invictus Games. The 25-year-old collapsed with a serious lung condition that was later diagnosed as pneumonia.
She went into respiratory failure and when her lungs filled with fluid had to be put on life support. Thanks to a team who put Elizabeth on to ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) life support, she survived.
Although the ECMO saved her life it caused neurological damage which in turn affected the mobility in her legs making her eligible for the Paralympics.
Nearly 500 athletes from 14 different countries have been competing in the Paralympic-style sports which started on Monday.
